Take a deep breath and stretch. Stretch our arms wide and feel the tension build and release. Feel the blessed relief in every muscle. Now stretch again and this time feel it in your wings. They may a bit dusty from lack of use, but if we give them a good stretch and shake, they will be good as new. Which is a good thing because it is time to FLY.
If we believe in the beauty of our dreams we are sure to soar higher than we can imagine. But we must beware those who want to clip our budding wings. The nay-sayers and dream stompers like to keep us in our place, flat on the ground, but baby we were meant to fly! Making sure we spend time with the ones who want to watch us fly is very important right now. The others? We can just wish them well from our lofty heights and sprinkle them with angel dust and fairy poop as we fly by.

Remember a time, not so long ago, when life was slow and mellow? We lay on the grass and watched clouds tell stories with their pictures. We were lazy in the sunshine and drowsy with dreams of the future, vast and unblemished before us. Time moved slowly and we did too. We knew how to be alive, without striving. We knew about the magic of “possibility”.
The tender youth awakens within us today and asks us to take time to dream. Our futures lay before us, vast and unblemished and anything is possible. Take a vacation today from being a grown up. The clouds are telling stories and need us to lay back and be witness to the splendor. There are 4 leaf clovers hiding in the grass for us to find. There are dreams to unfold and magic to behold. Let’s not let them pass us by.

We are all perfect children of a benevolent and loving Source. Our job today is to remember that at our very core, we sparkle with Divine light. No matter what we have done in our past, our perfection can never be altered. We need to find our way back to this truth and embrace the beauty of our inner perfection.
What if, instead of replaying the horrors of our past, we replay the joys. What if we forgive ourselves for the mistakes and embrace the lessons? What if we live in the present moment and celebrate the purity of Now and of our true Selves? And what if we finally recognize our own pure and tender hearts and love ourselves as God loves us? Then we’ll feel the Angels rejoicing and hear the distant sound of their all night dance party. Shake it up, baby…. twist and shout!

The exhilaration of movement after months and months (and years for some of us) of waiting patiently brings an almost frantic energy to the day. Our wildest dreams are being realized and what seemed so far off in the distant future is now coming into our reality. And all we want to do is move as fast as we can to keep up with the influx. The energy is frenetic, but we are being guided to take a breath and to slow down, for just a moment, and to get our fuzzy little ducks in a row.
Get organized. Use that logical brain and figure out how to best get things done. Consult an expert or mentor for advice and then take it. Heed whatever guidance comes our way. We are coming onto our destined soul path so it’s important to keep our eyes on the prize. Life loves us and we are supported in all of our ventures right now. Let’s just GO FOR IT. GiddyUP!

Daily Halo – Tues March 17

Back when I was single, before I met my American Husband, I decided to conjure a man. I had studied up on the law of attraction and realized that in order to attract the love of my life I would need a specific list of what I wanted in a man. Number 1 on my list? Sense of humor. I grew up in a house filled with laughter and I knew that more than looks, more than money, more than anything else, I needed somebody in my life who enjoyed a good laugh. The benevolent Universe provided, and My American Husband makes me laugh every single day. It is a recipe for joy.
Life can seem pretty serious a lot of the time, but finding the humor in our situation is what we are asked to do today. It’s time to lighten up, remember our playful nature and have a good old fashioned, side hurting, tear streaming belly laugh. So break out the Monty Python, watch some Louis CK, or do something outrageous and silly. Do whatever it takes to break through the “adult” in you and find the glorious fun loving child who still knows how to let loose and laugh.

Angels of Another Kind
When the ones we love leave us for a time and wait on the other side of the veil, I wonder…. If they could come back for a visit, maybe a dozen years long, wrapped up in fur and unconditional love, wouldn’t they do that very thing?
Wouldn’t they sit on our laps and patiently wait for our attention?
Wouldn’t they love us unconditionally and bring comfort when we need it most.
And don’t you think, the ones we love might want to frolic and play with us, with greater abandon than they could while walking on two feet.
We sometimes recognize them when we see them. The softness in their gaze and the remembered embrace, it reaches out to us and we fall instantly in love. We don’t need words or long explanations. We just need to spend a little more time together before we can spend eternity.

Is it just me or does it seem that this past winter has been all about eating too much and moving too little? Spring is sprunging (springing? sprouting?) and the layers of heavy sweaters and coats are being peeled away. Suddenly it seems like a great idea to lace up our runners and get outside. Perhaps a nice brisk walk down to the local Farmer’s Market to pick up something fresh and local? Or a hike up into the forest to find some peace in nature.
Whatever moves you to find your way to a healthier lifestyle, now is the time to take those steps. Literally. Our bodies really are the temples we inhabit during our time here on earth and who wants to live in a polluted, broken down old building? The more we move, the more we will want to move. So get active and feel the energy begin to flow.

We do it this way because this is the way it’s always been done. Change is hard. It’s just easier to keep things the way they are. Nobody likes a troublemaker.
These are lies we tell ourselves to keep from moving forward. When we are urged to make changes, sometimes it is easier just to find excuses. It is time to take a good, hard look at ourselves and to be honest about things. Are we stuck in an uneasy situation because we are too afraid to move forward? Are we standing in our own way?
Get still and silent today. Let go of the thoughts that keep you marching to the same drummer and allow the truth to sink in, ever so gently. What are we doing to numb ourselves? What are we doing to keep ourselves from our highest good? And more important than that… what can we do to get over ourselves? Being honest with ourselves will open us up to being true to our dreams. No more excuses! We can do this thing!

When we are on the right path, and are living our inspiration, forces will pull together every little thing that we need to help us on our way. As Rumi says so beautifully, “what you seek is seeking you”. This is the heart of the law of attraction. We are magnetically drawing to us that which we are resonating with. Like attracts like, so if we are ebbing low with our energy and emotions, then we will attract to ourselves experiences and people that will resonate with that low energy.
Happily, knowing this truth, we can do everything in our human power to bring our energy to the level of that which we are hoping to attract. We want a shiny happy life filled with sparkly happy people, then we should do our best to see the shiny happiness that already exists and to become the sparkly happy person we are hoping to attract. Don’t you just love it when things go right? The time has come! It’s here! It’s now! It’s time to reap the benefits of all of our amazing, positive thoughts and actions. Are you ready for a change? I am! And that’s good because one is certainly coming and this one is for the better. Life has handed us some lemons, to be sure, but this time it is a great big, delicious lemon meringue pie with extra yummy goodness thrown in.
We are guided to open ourselves to receiving all of the fabulousness that is coming. As we welcome this change our lives will shift to a level of contentment and ease that we have not felt in a very long time. It is like we’ve been pedalling and pedalling and finally we crest the hill. Now we get to feel the wind in our hair, relax and enjoy the ride. If we close our eyes just for a second we might even think we are flying
